Toledo-Alexandria “Alexandria Beacons of Humanity”

Alexandria, 20 December 2005—The Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) recently hosted a lecture organized by Toledo in Spain entitled Alexandria Beacons of Humanity.
Along with the lecture, an exhibition was inaugurated displaying 20 photos portraying the town of Toledo. In addition to this, a collection of books was donated to the BA related to the history, culture, as well as the heritage of Toledo.
The inauguration was attended by Ambassador Taher Khalifa, Head of External Affairs at the BA, representative of Toledo Parliament, Spanish studies specialists, Vice Dean of Castilla-La Mancha University, as well as the representative of the Toledo Translation School.
