Donation from the Spanish cultural center OLOT

Alexandria, 18 December 2005— H.E. Mrs. Caterina Mieras, Minister of Culture of the Regional Government of Catalonia in Spain, visited the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, on 11 December 2005, to donate more than 500 books on different cultural aspects from the Spanish cultural center, OLOT.
During the visit, Ambassador Taher Khalifa, Head of External Affairs at the BA, recieved the delegation, taking them on a tour at the BA museums, galleries, and research centers. He also introduced them to the services that the Library provides to its visitors.
