Donation from the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya

Alexandria, 21 February 2005—A delegation from the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, headed by Dr. Al-Mahdi Ambiresh, Libyan Secretary of the General People’s Committee for Culture, visited the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) on 17 February 2005, where they presented a collection of the latest Libyan publications to its library. The collection comprises 532 titles in different branches, as well as a collection of novels and stories by famous Libyan writers.
During the visit, the delegation toured BA and was introduced to the activities and services provided to its visitors.
