The BA Center for Documentation of Cultural and Natural Heritage received on Wednesday, 30 August 2023, a group of 15 students from South Korea, accompanied by 10 officials from the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Through a guided tour, the visitors explored the Center's activities inside the projects room, where they attended the “Puntland Culturama” and the "Wall of Knowledge" show, which uses augmented reality technology to display several topics from Egyptian heritage, including the tomb of Tutankhamun, Egyptian fine art, The Book of the Dead: The Papyrus of Ani and the mural of the tomb of Rakhami-Ra, which is a pictorial drawing of part of the mural of the tomb of Rakhami Ra (a minister during the reign of Thutmose III) located in Luxor. The mural showcases the manufacturing process of certain crafts such as gold, carpentry and leather. Using the Wall of Knowledge application, users can examine all stages of gold manufacturing in their authentic colors.

At the end of the tour, visitors had the opportunity to take virtual photos with famous ancient Egyptian figures such as King Tutankhamun's guard and Ramses III with Horus and Set.

The visit raised the awareness of the Korean visitors about the ancient Egyptian heritage, with the aim of increasing cultural exchange between the two countries.
