Big Read 2012 Closing Ceremony

The BA Main Library holds on Thursday, 27 September 2012 the Closing Ceremony of the Big Read 2012 program that was organized from July to September 2012 and revolved around Miramar by Nobel Laureate Naguib Mahfouz.
The Ceremony includes a theatrical performance based on the novel and translated into sign language, and a video featuring sketches of the novel’s characters by members of the “Think and Express” workshop for the hearing and speech impaired.
The Ceremony also features multimedia presentations of the different Big Read 2012 workshops namely: Drama workshop with readers from different age groups; “Think and Express” workshop for the hearing and speech impaired; and the Literary Atlas Workshop.
Winners will be announced and all participants of the several contests will be honored namely: the Essay and the Art and Photography contests. An Exhibition of all art pieces will be also held on the fringe lines of the event.
