The BA Hosts the Chief Editor of American Libraries Magazine

Alexandria— On the Occasion of the 5th anniversary of the BA, Mr. Leonard Kniffel, Chief Editor of American Libraries Magazine will discuss "the Future of Modern Libraries" in a seminar at the BA on Wednesday, 30 May 2007. The seminar will be chaired by Dr. Sohair Wastawy, Head of the BA Library Sector, who stated that the American Libraries Magazine is sent to roughly 64,000 individuals or organizations worldwide and is one of the leading references on current events in libraries. She added that the Magazine will publish an extensive essay vis-à-vis the Library of Alexandria in one of its coming issues.

On Thursday, 31 May, Mr. Leonard Kniffel will give a lecture on "Publishing", in which he will speak on his experience concerning the techniques and processes of publishing that he uses everyday with a magazine that is widely circulated worldwide.

The two events will start at 14:00 hrs. at the Lectures Hall, BA Conference Center.
