The Dimensions and Impacts of Bioaccumulation of Organic Wastes

Alexandria — the Youth for Sustainable Development and Better Understanding Program organized by the Center for Special Studies and Programs is holding a series of lectures on education, environment, and population growth. In this context, the CSSP is organizing on Tuesday, 25 July 2006, a lecture entitled Bioaccumulation of Organic Wastes by Dr. Salah Soliman, Professor of Pesticide Chemistry and Toxicology, Faculty of Agriculture, Alexandria University. In the lecture, Dr. Salah will define the organic wastes, its different kinds, its negative impact on the human health, and scientific means of getting rid of organic wastes without harming the surrounding environment. These lectures aim at developing the capacities of youth, and training them on preserving natural resources using scientific techniques.

The lecture will start at 17:00 hrs at the second floor meeting hall, BA Conference Center.
