Posted on

Alexandria — the BA Center for Special Studies and Programs will organize on 18 and 19 July a workshop entitled Plan Your Future. The workshop – which is moderated by high school students- will discuss how youth can plan for their future in concurrence with their potentials and aspirations for the future. In the workshop, youth will get all information regarding Egyptian colleges, their different departments, and curricula. The workshop also aims at enabling youth discover their own abilities.

One of the major causes of the educational crisis in Egypt is failure of high school students to properly choose a college that best suits their talent and skills. Youth’s wrong choice is usually due to a preference of one college over the other which eventually leads to over crowdedness in some colleges, a matter that does not conform with the labor market. The workshop is chaired by Dr. Salah Soliman, Professor of Pesticide Chemistry and Toxicology, Faculty of Agriculture, Alexandria University.

The workshop will start at 10:00 hrs at the Middle Hall, BA Conference Center.
