Dr. Ahmed Zayed at the Doha Book Fair: Improving the Performance at the BA to Meet the Challenges of AI

Prof. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, stated that the BA is constantly seeking to improve the performance of its work system to meet the challenges posed by rapid technology, most notably the challenge of artificial intelligence.
This remark was outlined during a seminar entitled "The Role of Cultural Institutions ... From Preserving Knowledge to Disseminating Knowledge", held as part of the cultural program of the Doha International Book Fair, which runs from 8 to 17 May in Doha.
Following the seminar, H.E. Sheikh Abdul Rahman bin Hamad Al Thani, Qatar's Minister of Culture, presented Dr. Zayed with a set of the latest books in the humanities, in addition to cultural magazines published by the Qatari Ministry of Culture, to be added to the book collection at the BA.
