Launch of “Bahrawiya at the BA” Initiative in Collaboration with Beheira Governorate

The BA Women Studies Program has launched the first activities of the “Bahrawiya at the BA” initiative held in cooperation with Beheira Governorate.
Dr. Marwa El-Wakil, Head of the Academic Research Sector, and Ms. Rania Nofal, Director of the Women Studies Program, welcomed a delegation from the village of Zawya Saqr in Abu El-Matamir, Beheira Governorate, to the first event of the initiative. The delegation was accompanied by Dr. Nouran Ahmed El-Sheikh from the Technical Office of the Governor of Beheira, and included 46 primary to high school students, a group of university students, a number of supervisors and villagers, together with representation from people with disabilities.
The visit included a guided tour of the Main Library building, the Children and Young People’s libraries, the ALEXploratorium hall, and the Planetarium.
