The Future of the Arabic Novel at the BA

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina has organized a seminar entitled “The Future of the Arabic Novel,” as part of the cultural program of the 20th edition of its International Book Fair. It was delivered by Jordanian writer and novelist Jalal Barjas and Egyptian writer and novelist Nasser Iraq, and moderated by writer Hend Gaafar.
The seminar addressed the future of the Arabic novel in light of the changing Arab readers’ tastes, especially after the violent political and social transformations that the region has witnessed.
