Transit of Venus, Hasn’t Happened in 122 Years

In a rare astronomical occurrence, visitors to the Planetarium and Science Center at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, were able to witness yesterday, the passing of Planet Venus in front of the Sun, an astronomical phenomenon that has not occurred in 122 years and prophesized by the German astronomer Kepler in 1629.
