Unveiling Alexander The Great Bust

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina will host a special
unveiling and dedication ceremony on October 13 to commemorate a donation from
the Hellenic Ministry of Culture, the donation in the form of a bust of
Alexander The Great is sculpted by Yannis Pappas, a Hellenic sculptor with
Alexandrian roots. The unveiling ceremony will be performed by the Hellenic
Charge d’ Affaire to Egypt, H.E. Mr. G. Hadjimihelakis, and Dr. Ismail
Serageldin, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina. Hellenic and Egyptian
dignitaries as well as prominent members of both communities and invited guests
will also attend the event.
