Dr. Tomazzoni Maurizio, a member of the Local Cultural Committee of the Rovereto Municipality, and Dr. Alessio Bertolli, Deputy Director of the Rovereto Civic Museum will deliver speeches on the educational activities organized by the museum under the title “Dissemination of Knowledge in a Modern Museum: The State of the Rovereto Civic Museum”. Dr. Barbara Maurina, a museum curator at the Rovereto Civic Museum, and Dr. Maurizio Zulian, Honorary Curator of the Rovereto Civic Museum, will also contribute to the discussion.
The event will also include a presentation on the Arabic translation of the renowned book Theory of Restoration by Cesare Brandi, conducted by Dr. Moamen Othman, Head of the Restoration Department at the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square. Dr. Paolo Gallo, Head of the Archaeological Mission at Nelson Island in Alexandria, will speak on the relationship between Archaeology and publishing in terms of the Italian presence in Alexandria in a presentation titled “Italy and the World of Publishing in the Archaeological Field in the City of Alexandria during the 19th and 20th Centuries”. Professor Gallo will also present the books pertaining to the subject that have been collected by the BA.
